  • What impact does an unstable economy have on people’s decision to divorce or delay?
  • What should divorcing couples be particularly aware of in their arrangements?
  • How can they try to future-proof their divorce arrangements to account for economic fluctuations?

This episode of the Divorce and Separation Coach podcast is about a thought-provoking topic. While many of us start yawning when we think of discussing the state of the economy, it does have a very concrete impact on our lives. I was joined by Antonia Felix to explore how economic downturn impacts divorce in particular. Antonia is a Partner in the family team at Mishcon de Reya. She specialises in all aspects of family law including complex financial remedy cases, cohabitation disputes and private law children matters. Antonia works with her clients to minimise the impact of the cost of living crisis on changing family dynamics, and helps them adopt a flexible and commercial approach in these uncertain times. Antonia is passionate about making her clients feel supported through the process and believes that signposting them to the right experts (be it co-parenting specialists, divorce consultants and coaches, therapists and mediators) helps them to achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their families.
