O. contacted me after being stuck in a drawn-out divorce process. Mediation had failed when her ex lied on his financial disclosure, leaving negotiations ineffective. She had already spent a lot on lawyers without making progress and was feeling overwhelmed.
Her ex had a very aggressive solicitor, and O. struggled to keep up, ultimately deciding to represent herself. I helped her manage negotiations with his lawyer and guided her through preparing for a private FDR.
We clarified her proposals, defined her bottom line, and established clear criteria for success. This preparation gave her confidence to negotiate effectively, and she ultimately reached an agreement with her ex without spending another penny on legal fees.
In her owns words:
“The sessions with Chloé helped me step back from the conflict and think in terms of the long-term outcome I wanted for myself and my children. I felt clearer about my priorities, and more focused on how to achieve financial security and peace of mind, rather than getting pulled into every battle. Her practical approach was refreshing in such a heavy, time consuming and complex process.”
