It’s easy to forget that divorce continues to impact the family dynamics for many years after it is actually finalised. Many different changes can affect the carefully crafted equilibrium that each person tries to achieve as they settle into the next chapter of their life. It is almost inevitable for one of the former spouses to meet someone new. Things get particularly complicated when there are children involved. I was joined by Ambar Bharwani, a solicitor at Expatriate Law Singapore and Helen Biscoe Taylor is both a qualified and registered Adult psychotherapist and a Family, Child, Couples and Adolescent Psychotherapist.
